Dawn Sutherland at Paint the Aspens

.Dawn began painting in Wisconsin, but she really fell in love with the beauty of the American Southwest. She is active in “plein aire” (open-air) painting groups, and when she is not painting in her studio in Jerome or Flagstaff, she can be found outdoors with her paint box and backpack, capturing first-hand the beauty of the desert, the mountains, and the wildflowers. A last-minute schedule conflict prevented Dawn from painting at the
event, but her submitted image had been chosen as show image, and sold at the
reception. The above photo is from Paint the Aspens 2008. She says she's still getting the stickers out of her pants...
