Ann Osgood uses gestural brushstrokes and bold color to paint a wide range of subjects from her Arizona studio. Inspired by the landcape, a frontage road on the freeway, the human figure the painting begins with an observation. Each painting sets up its own challenges and solutions that result in an image with its own beauty beyond the subject.
